The Teifi river, once famed for its salmon fishing and still one of the most beautiful rivers in Wales, is within walking distance and the town of Newcastle Emlyn is about 2 miles away. This small market town has a good range of shops and several pubs and cafes with a relaxed atmosphere and the town of Cardigan, about 10 miles away at the mouth of the river Teifi also has an arts centre and cinema.
The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path begins just outside Cardigan and offers glorious walks along this dramatic coast. Further south there is the picturesque village of Newport, with its wonderful beach and harbour. All of these places are easily reached by car from Gwyndaf through quiet country lanes.

"This bungalow has been superb. Every need has been accommodated for, beautiful decor and beautiful surroundings. We have had a lovely stay here and having the sunshine has made it even better. Andy, you have been most helpful and will certainly recommend this accommodation to our family and friends. Also, big thank-you for goodies & cakes on arrival.
Hope to come back, thanks for a lovely holiday. “
Mr & Mrs Green, West Midlands
“We have had a fantastic time, location is really convenient for all local towns & beaches. The house is in immaculate condition and has every facility. A TV in every room is useful for the kids to have their own space. The garden and patio area is great for relaxing and dining. We have felt at home since the day we came and Andy has been very helpful, more a friend than a landlord! We would certainly come back”
Asif and Family, West Yorkshire
“Fine house, particularly the conservatory, patio and TV in the bathroom! Lovely welcome and great cake. We would recommended the wool museum, Penbryn beach, Caws Cenarth cheese farm and the local chip shop. Thank you for a lovely holiday”
Parkers Family, Leeds
